Slums Affecting Human Population

Imagine if you were really poor person who lives in a slum. A slum is a densely populated

urban area inhabited by very poor people. They are many effects that slums have in

human population; people in slums live in bad conditions, have no good water to drink,

and do not receive medical care as they should. All people in slums live in bad

conditions.

All of the people who live in slums live in bad conditions. “The houses are made of mud

and they’re very crowded. And the slum are very dirty.” This quote shows how people in

slums live in bad conditions because it describes how slums are very dirty. All people in

slums have no good water to drink.

All people in slums have no safe drinking water. “Human waste leaches into the water

people drink and contaminates the food they eat. It carries typhoid and other diseases that

can be deadly, specially to young children.” This quote shows how not only water, but

also food are contaminated because it describes how it isn’t safe. People who live in

slums do not receive medical care as they should.

People in slums do not receive medical care as they should. “ The individual who tips the

scales might be a baby born to a city dweller or an adult migrating from the countryside,

but in either case, it’s likely that his or her new surrondings will include flimsy walls,

disease and enveloping stench of sewage and trash.”

This quote shows how baby born baby’s will grow up in an enviroment of diseases

because shows how poor they are can affort for medicine. So this proves how slums have

on human population.

So once again imagine if you were a really poor person living in a slum. They are many

effects that slums have on human population; people in slums live in bad conditions,

have no good safe drinking water, and do not receive medical care as they should. So

think about those people who live in slums all over the world and step into their shoes.
